Personalized Photo Posters

Welcome to Doodledaisies' blog!

Kids are so finicky about what they want hanging on their walls. Girls especially! Are you having a hard time finding art for your kids' rooms that they like? I have 2 girls ages 12 and 14, and all I hear is "that's too babyish, " or "eeww," when I pick out something that matches their room. If my daughters could have it their way, they would also ask me to change the colors of their room every year. Painting, buying new linens, pictures, can all add up quickly. That is why I created the Doodledaisies Personalized Photo Poster product line. Check out my website Doodledaisies' Personalized Photo Posters. I found that personalized photo posters with photos of my kids' friends was the answer to my decorating woes with children.
As my kids grow, I can customize the wall art inexpensively, keeping the look fresh with personalized photos they like. Add a nice frame and the "poster" becomes a classy work of art.

The poster shown is 11 x 14 inches in size, matted in a 16 x 20 inch white photo frame that I found at Michael's Arts & Crafts store. I customized this design for my 12 year old daughter Claire's room, which has lime green walls, pink and black accessories, and a lime green bedspread. She loves hanging out with her friends, so of course, that is the theme I chose for this poster.

Test Marketing a New Funky Design

I have been working hard trying to decide what colorway looks best for one of my Mod Flower Power pattern, and so I would love your opinion on my latest photo poster design. What do you think? It isn't shown framed, as I can't decide what color matte to use. The poster is 11 x 14, and the photo inside is 5" x 7".

Colorful Daisies Poster Framed

The photo to the left is one of the Colorful Daisies Posters I framed in black with a 2 inch white matte, using a framing gallery website. It is not a real photo of the poster framed, but you can get the general idea of what this design would look like framed. Recently I saw a Rooms to Go Kids flyer that advertised bedroom furniture sets in all different colors. They are making red, green, blue, yellow....you name the color, and Rooms to Go is making it for kids. When I saw that, I knew that this Colorful Daisies poster would be the perfect answer to decorating my kids' rooms. Of course.....I am going to have to let them pick out the photo we put in it themselves......
